EPS Learning Academy sessions are designed to deepen and refine practice around core areas of work. Each session will provide teachers with strategies for designing personalized learning experiences for students.
Sessions are designed to help educators learn more about how effective use of curricular resources can support the creation of personalized learning experiences for kids. We are offering a wide variety of sessions focused on unit/lesson design, data literacy, strategies for success, Social Emotional Learning, and more.
The state in-service day is a principal-directed professional development day. Please check with your principal to determine if participation at the Learning Academy is going to be approved, or if building-directed professional development will be occurring.
Teachers will share and evaluate ideas regarding growth and maintenance of our AP Programs. We will share ideas for planning an advanced/portfolio class including projects and lessons. We will plan for and create videos to be used in the development and strategic planning for our Evergreen Makers Program. We will round out our day by gathering resources for Fall projects.
